Taking advantage of the 4th Consortium meeting on 16th and 17th April 2018, GEOTER hosted the second Symposium in Madrid on 18th April in CIEMAT (Centro de Investigaciones Energéticas, Medioambientales y Tecnológicas). We had a variety of speakers and subjects around the topic of Geothermal Energy such as CIEMAT, Uponor Spain, Viessmann Spain, ATECYR, GAPTEK and hybridGEOTABS partners.

Filip Jorissen from KU Leuven shall be presenting his PhD defense entitled: Toolchain for Optimal Control and Design of Energy Systems in Buildings on Friday April 20th 2018 at 17:00 CEST in the ‘promotiezaal’, at Naamsestraat 22, 3000 Leuven (details). The defense will be followed by a reception in the ‘jubileumzaal’. A brief summary of the research can be found here.

To celebrate its 80th anniversary ATIC will host the REHVA meeting days in Brussels on 21-23 April. As ATIC has a tradition on supporting students and researchers in the field of HVAC, ATIC has taken the opportunity to host an international conference on the latest evolutions in the field of HVAC.
